Palmer hyperhidrosis is a very common problem that is also known as sweaty hands or sweaty palms.

Symptoms of Sweaty Hands

The characteristics of palmer hyperhidrosis are excessive sweating in your palms. This can be due to anxiety or simply due to a lack of control of the sweat glands.

Having sweaty hands can be a very embarrassing condition especially when it comes to socializing. Many times the way we greet others is by shaking hands, but having this condition can make it something you want to avoid due to sweaty hands.

Causes of Palmer Hyperhidrosis

There is no one cause to palmer hyperhidrosis and doctors do not know the exact cause of the condition either. But it is known that those who suffer from this condition have it for life if it is not treated. The condition can become worse when under anxiety but most of the times it is uncontrollable and the person has sweaty hands most of the time. Sweaty hands can start at any age, and if it starts at an early age it usually gets worse around adolescent years.

Sweaty Hands Treatments

There are several Treatments of Palmer Hyperhidrosis to help stop sweaty hands or at least help reduce the production of sweat.

These can be:

- Oral medication
- Botox
- Iontophoresis
- hypnosis
- ETS Surgery

All of these Sweaty Palms Treatments are helpful but the best has proven to be ETS surgery, which stands for Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy.

Choosing which treatment you will use for your palmer hyperhidrosis condition depends on your budget and if you want a medical treatment or an alternative that can be hypnosis or meditation to control sweat.
